Assistant Manager Distribution is primarily tasked with managing day-to-day operations in a warehouse or distribution center.
His responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service in the distribution center.
- Directing, optimizing, and coordinating full order cycle.
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
- Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
- Arrange warehouses, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments.
- Resolving any arising problems or complaints related to distribution.
- Supervising, coaching, and training his workforce.
- Meeting cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
- Maintaining metrics and analyzing data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company requirements.
- To set targets & goals of the entire sales team.
- To develop sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
- To supervise sales activities of all Regions by reviewing monthly targets.
- Responsible for sales growth and revenue enhancement.
- To conduct market research to understand competitors and market trends.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers for repeat business.
- Develop creative promotional strategies to attract more customers.
- To implement regional sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
- To monitor the entire team's performance and motivate them to reach targets
- To contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Note: A candidate from the Telecom Sector will be preferable.
