The post holder will undertake the appropriate level of training and is responsible for ensuring that they understand and work within the safeguarding policies of the organisation.

All offers of employment will be subject to satisfactory references and appropriate screening checks, which can include criminal records and terrorism finance checks. Shifa Foundation also participates in the Inter Agency Misconduct Disclosure Scheme, Misconduct Disclosure Scheme — SCHR. In line with this Scheme, we will request information from job applicants’ previous employers about any findings of sexual exploitation, sexual abuse and/or sexual harassment during employment, or incidents under investigation when the applicant left employment. By submitting an application, the job applicant confirms his/her understanding of these recruitment procedures.

Define program implementation modalities (targeting criteria, mobilization modalities, local partnerships, monitoring systems, staff schedules, etc.) in coordination with District Social Mobilization Officer and field team.
Ensure quality and integrity of implementation, including adherence to technical guidelines, administrative systems, and established deadlines. Identify and respond to related staff capacity building priorities.
Develop regular project monitoring that includes participatory methods, program progress, effectiveness of Shifa Foundation facilitation, progress toward achieving targets, ability to measure stated indicators, program adherence to methodology, budget expenditure, etc.
Prepare internal and external reports for Shifa Foundation and donors, including expenditure plans and ensure monthly progress reports, supplies consumption report and request for supplies are timely shared with Head Office and Donor.
Prepare timely quarterly report as per donor format with Head Office for timely onward submission
Sensitize main stakeholders, caregivers, religious leaders on basic vaccination, immunization and need for support and commitment for long term access to vaccine to children uncovered/missing and refusal.
To mobilize field team and increased demand of immunization/ vaccination.
Ensure communication and coordination between the EPI and community in the frame of immunization.
Develop and maintain program monitoring and reporting system.
Set up accountability and complaints mechanisms for the communities
Represent Shifa Foundation programs in EPI/Polio and health coordination meetings in the district and at the cluster level in Sindh.
Responsible for coordination with EPI, health, partner organizations working on EPI in the targeted area.
Oversee and support Admin/Finance team to finalize and get approval from head office for all activities budgeted in project document.
Any other task assigned by the Line Manager.
