Overall supervision of projects including program planning & implementation at field level and ensure smooth and high quality program deliverables

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for periodic program planning, regional program implementation and regular feedback to the management
  • Ensure implementation of programme in accordance with the monitoring framework(s), agreed outputs and values of SPO
  • Supervise Regional and Project Managers
  • Identify areas of potential risk and provide  solutions oriented troubleshooting support.
  • Lead, develop, plan, implement, coordinate and manage critical paths/milestones and  monitor mechanisms for smooth  implementation of the project(s)
  • Provide support for evaluation process for quality program deliverables
  • Serve as the primary contact for the liaison with the project’s team and relevant partners.
  • Monitor budget and cash flows
  • Prepare and give presentations on the project both at internal and external level as and when required
  • Provide guidelines  for developing training materials for the community and stakeholder
  • Develop tools and systems for the program and provide operational information along with the recommendations to CE and MEAL section for strategic decision making
  • Spearhead the process for furnishing information for advocacy campaigns and provide updated material to support activities in the field
  • Provide feedback during internal discussions  in accordance with SPO’s mission, policy and  values in order to increase the effectiveness of  in  programmes and projects.
  • Ensure timely and quality submission of internal and external/donor reporting in accordance with agreed templetates and timeframe.
  • Organize, lead and coordinate the project implementation meetings with regions
  • Participate in weekly, fortnightly, monthly and quarterly management meetings both at NC and Regional level
  • Provide support in organizational knowledge management
  • Contribute for the development of action and research in SPO’s thematic areas
  • Supervise the team of thematic leads to ensure quality input for SPO’s program areas
  • Assist CE in implementing strategic plans and resource mobilization for sustainable growth of SPO
  • Represent SPO at various national and international forums

Coordination Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate closely with Programme Development team at the national level to build synergies and provide support in effective formulation of EOIs, Concept Notes and proposals for exploring new opportunities
  • Coordinate closely with MEAL and incorporate technical input, feedback and suggestion for further improvement
  • Coordinate with external agencies in consultation with the supervisor,

Other:

  • Adhere to SPO policies and promote participatory culture and demonstrate SPO’s values
  • Participate in professional development training as identified and approved by SPO
  • Carry out any other activities as assigned by the supervisor

  • Command on English Urdu verbal and written expressions. Know how on any Regional language will be an added value.
