We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, mastery in SQL, and experience with Looker Studio. Python and AWS experience would also be a plus. You will play a crucial role in interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing ongoing reports to drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

Gather data from primary and secondary sources, both internal and external, including unstructured data and structured data.
Using the OLAP data to create data marts that would power powerful visualizations on Looker Studio and management reports in Microsoft Excel
Quickly adapt to urgent and regular reporting requirements. We are a fast-growing business with new needs and regulatory requirements coming up all the time.
Perform advanced data analysis using SQL and, if required, Python.
Assist in designing and developing database schemas, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies and working closely with Data Engineers using cutting-edge technologies
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Liaise directly with Business Unit heads and own the reports under their purview.

Core Competencies

SQL Mastery: the candidate should be able to write, understand, and maintain complex queries related to our business model and expansive database schema
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Expert user of Looker Studio and adept at Microsoft Excel
At minimum basic knowledge of Python, with strong Python for Data Analysis skills being a strong advantage
Experience with AWS would be an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the team is Singapore-based and all written and verbal business communication is done in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Should be willing to start work early in the morning.

Experience

Minimum of 4 years experience working as a Data Analyst, preferably in the e-commerce or consumer retail industry.
A variety of experience across BI and Analytics roles would be a plus.
Experience working in cross-functional teams would be an advantage.
