Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Record Management
Maintain accurate patient records in EHR/EMR systems
Update charts with labs, imaging, referrals, and past visit notes
Task Management
Track pending labs, imaging results, follow-ups, and upcoming appointments
Documentation & Scribing
Create post-visit summaries and referral notes
Attend virtual consults and document real-time SOAP notes (ICD/CPT coding)
Prepare visit notes for physician approval
Prescription & Referral Assistance
Draft medication orders and monitor refill requests
Handle referrals and prior authorizations for imaging and specialist visits
Pre-Visit Preparation
Review and summarize patient history and recent labs/imaging before appointments
Qualifications:
Background in healthcare (MBBS, MD, PA, or relevant medical/dental admin experience)
Excellent understanding of medical records, HIPAA compliance, and data confidentiality
Proficient in written and spoken English
Experience with EMR/EHR systems is a strong plus
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Familiarity with insurance processes and basic billing (CDT codes, PPO/HMO is a plus)
Tech-savvy and comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
