As a WordPress Developer at Tech Wixer, you’ll play a key role in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and plugins. We’re seeking someone with solid experience in WordPress, WooCommerce, and LMS platforms like LearnDash and Tutor LMS. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with custom themes and plugins
- Customize and configure WooCommerce, LearnDash, and Tutor LMS based on client needs
- Convert design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.) into responsive, functional websites
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across a wide variety of browsers and devices
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends and technologies
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in WordPress, including theme and plugin development
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP
- Hands-on experience with WooCommerce (product setup, customization, checkout flow)
- Experience with LMS platforms like LearnDash and Tutor LMS
- Familiarity with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
- Responsive design implementation and cross-browser compatibility
- Basic understanding of SEO and website performance optimization
- Version control experience (e.g., Git) is a plus
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience integrating third-party APIs
- Familiarity with REST API and headless WordPress
- Knowledge of security best practices for WordPress
- Prior experience working in a digital agency or freelancing environment
