Job Summary / Major Responsibilities:

Ensure the implementation of QAIP and to carry out ongoing reviews of engagements to assess the effectiveness of branch/TPC/RCAD/MS/IS/RAR/Shariah audit reports by using “Quality Assurance Evaluation Criteria” (QAEC) and report results to the CIA on quarterly basis.
Ensure that Auditing Services rendered by IAF are according to Quality Standards and in compliance with Internal Audit Charter, Manuals, Checklists, Procedures and International Standards for the “Professional Practice of Internal Auditing” and Code of Ethics published by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Pre-Release review of engagements with high risk conducted by MS, IS, RAR and Shariah Audit Reports. Post-Release review of sample Audit Reports. Identify and assess whether the issues highlighted are due to reasons of control weaknesses, which may be either due to its flawed design or incomplete/ improper implementation.
Take up Control Weaknesses / gaps with the management (as duly approved EIC) for development of new controls / reengineering of existing controls to mitigate the risks evaluated by Audit and their periodic follow up.
Organizing activities required to meet the aim of Quality Assurance System / Program to ensure that reports meet quality assurance evaluation criteria for Audit Engagements.
Preparation of periodic summary reports for information of CIA.
Record maintenance of all trainings including Internal/ External.
Suggest duly approved recommendations to Audit Heads on ideas or actions leading to improved Quality Controls, Procedures and Processes.
Review the cases pertaining to condonation of Audit irregularities and refund of Unclaimed Deposits assigned by CIA and maintain database.
Review of Balance Confirmations dispatched during course of Branch Audits by Audit team. Take appropriate action where required.
Handle overall Administrative matters of the Internal Audit Function.
To Manage & Participation in all Staff meetings of IAF & maintenance of the Record. Action Points finalized in the meeting, there implementation and follow up till resolution.
Handling of Imprest Account of Internal Audit Function.
Any other assignment given by the line management.

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor`s or equivalent degree preferably MBA/M.Com./MSc. in Accounting/Finance/Mathematics /Statistics/CFAP/CAF/CA etc from any HEC recognized local/ foreign university/Institute. CA/CIA will be preferred.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of banking experience including 5 years of relevant experience.

Age: Up to 55 years as of April 28, 2025.
