Business Development Officer

The Business Development Officer will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company's customer base, developing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with key clients, especially within the oil & gas, energy, and industrial sectors

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company objectives.
Conduct market research to gather intelligence on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government organizations, EPC contractors, and industrial buyers.
Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotations, tenders, and pre-qualification documents.
Follow up on ongoing projects, bids, and customer communications.
Coordinate internally with the Sales, Procurement, and Operations teams to meet customer requirements.
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and meetings to promote Allied Piping Inc’s capabilities and brand.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, client feedback, and progress against targets.
Support the management in contract negotiations and closing deals.
Ensure customer satisfaction through continuous engagement and service excellence.

Key Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus.)
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the industrial supply, oil & gas, or engineering sectors.

Skills:

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and client handling abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver results under tight deadlines.

Willingness to travel for client meetings and project discussions.
