This post will perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of school/ campus building structures, and facilities. He will spend time outdoors at construction sites or on campuses so that he can monitor operations or solve problems onsite.

Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at the project site.
Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
Resolving design and development problems.
Managing budgets and project resources.
Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries.
Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects.
Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.

Technical skills

Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Management: Proficient in preparing, reviewing, and managing BOQs for construction projects.
Estimation and Costing: Skilled in estimating project costs, quantifying materials, and analyzing vendor quotations.
Vendor Management: Experienced in dealing with vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Construction Execution: Proven ability to execute building projects according to design specifications, ensuring quality and timely completion.
Design Interpretation: Strong understanding of architectural and engineering designs, with the ability to read and implement drawings.
