The Division
Friedman Corporation develops enterprise computing solutions for the discrete To-Order Manufacturer. Friedmans advanced multi-platform technology and modular application design support customized enterprise-wide solutions to meet the unique requirements of the to-order manufacturer.

The Position
Friedman Corporation is searching for a Software Developer (IBM iSeries developer) with knowledge of the processes involved in detailed analysis, estimating, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining RPGLE business applications.
The position requires strong collaboration skills when working with business analysts to understand and translate business processes and requirements into documented technical requirements. Programmer / analysts are expected to produce on time deliverables with minimal rework and reported issues. Professionalism, strong analytical, organization /prioritization, oral and written communications skills are required.

Required Technical Skills
Candidate must have experience in the following programming languages on the IBM iSeries

• RPG iv
• ILE RPG
• SQL
• DDS
• CLLE
• Experience working on an ERP package
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment or individual while completing all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
