We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Chief Financial Officer for our commercial air-conditioning (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing-MEP) business and contribute to our continued success.
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the overall objectives of MEP business.
- Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to guide decision-making at the departmental and organizational levels.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for MEP business, ensuring accurate and timely preparation, review, and analysis of budgets and financial projections.
- Monitor and assess budget performance, identifying areas for improvement for cost-saving opportunities.
Financial Reporting:
- Accounting Management.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations for MEP business and top management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Tax planning/budgeting.
Capital Management:
- Manage capital allocation and expenditure decisions related to MEP projects, equipment, and investments.
- Analyze investment opportunities and provide recommendations for optimizing capital utilization.
Risk Management:
- Assess financial risks associated with MEP projects and initiatives, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Implement internal controls and processes to safeguard financial assets and prevent fraud.
Cost Management:
- Monitor and analyze costs related to MEP operations, identifying areas of inefficiency and recommending cost-saving measures.
Financial Leadership:
- Provide strategic financial leadership to the MEP business, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve financial and operational objectives.
- Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate financial performance, insights, and recommendations to departmental stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners as needed.
Qualifications:
- ACA with 03-05 years post qualification experience in financial leadership roles.
- Proven track record of strategic financial planning and successful execution of financial initiatives.
- Strong understanding of MEP dynamics, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
- Ethical conduct and integrity in financial decision-making and reporting.
