Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular Table touches to ensure exceptional customer experiences. Please watch YouTube or Google articles on what Table Touches are if you don\\\'t already know.
- Welcome and see off customers as if they were the manager\\\'s own guests at home.
- Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Maintain a brotherly attitude with the staff (No Boss behavior). We are advocates of brotherhood and equality among our staff.
- Create staff rotas.
- Periodically check the menu items to ensure they are cooked to restaurant standards.
- Check any items going out as Take Away or delivery for quality assurance so that nothing is missed and food quality is as per the restaurant standards.
- Maintain a book of restaurant recipes so that chefs/cooks adhere to these recipes as standard.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue. Analyze sales data and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement measures to improve customer satisfaction.
- Control labor costs, inventory, and expenses to maintain profitability. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Owner about profit/loss and expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and other restaurant-related regulations.
- Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices. Liaise with meat suppliers to ensure the restaurant has no interruptions in its raw meat inventory and supply.
- Build strong relationships with our customers. Schedule meetings with key personnel in different high-profile offices and businesses in the city and invite them to the restaurant. Take feedback on the phone from our takeaway customers about the food shipped to them.
- Arrange various events at the restaurant aimed at improving influx to the restaurant.
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies and work with the Social Media Manager to foster restaurant growth.
- Help the Social Media Manager develop various promotional food deals and discounts.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors.
- Have strong knowledge of our menu items and be capable of explaining our menu items to customers.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and conduct food experiments to drive innovation.
- Lead by example in all things, including punctuality and timely attendance.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor\\\'s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a restaurant (especially steakhouse) preferably in Lahore or Islamabad.
- Track Record: Proven track record of success in increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. Should be at his best from Day 1.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with restaurant management software, spreadsheets, and point-of-sale systems.
- Strong Verbal and Spoken English.
