Child Care: Provide attentive, compassionate care to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being throughout the day.

Safety Monitoring: Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, regularly checking for potential hazards and addressing them promptly.

Activity Planning: Assist in organizing and supervising age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, cognitive, and emotional development of children.

Health Monitoring: Observe children for signs of illness or distress and take appropriate action, including administering basic first aid if necessary.

Feeding and Nutrition: Assist with feeding, ensuring that each child receives proper nutrition according to dietary guidelines and parental instructions.

Personal Care: Help with diapering, toileting, and other personal care needs, maintaining the dignity and comfort of each child.

Parental Communication: Provide regular updates to parents about their child's well-being, activities, and any concerns that arise during the day.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of each child's activities, meals, nap times, and any incidents or observations.

Support for Day Care Operations: Assist the Day Care Committee with day-to-day operations, including inventory management.

Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to act swiftly in case of emergencies, following established protocols to ensure the safety of all children.

Handover and Takeover: Facilitate smooth handover and takeover processes when parents drop off or pick up their children, ensuring all relevant information is communicated and documented.

Documentation Maintenance: Accurately document the handover/takeover process, including the child’s condition, any specific instructions from parents, and any observations made during the day.
