Responsible for Procurement and Vendor Management function.
Ensure procurement plan is in place in line with business needs and strategy. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual procurement plans and progress reports as required.
Ensure timely procurements to support operations in line with procurement policy and standard industry practices.
Ensure effective lines of communication and co-ordination between stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure timely delivery of commodities and services using the appropriate procurement procedures.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors.
Prepare and review service delivery contracts and purchase orders for all procurements.
Manage vendor contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure completeness and continuity of deliverables outlined in the contract.
Review and process purchase order requisitions as per standard industry practices and policies.
Consult and negotiate product and equipment purchases with vendor representatives to obtain the best pricing and purchasing terms that meet the hospital’s standards and clinical outcomes in line with the policies.
