SQA Engineer

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will design and implement tests, debug issues, and define corrective actions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to ensure that our products meet the highest standards before release.

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Design:
- Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Review and analyze system specifications and requirements to create effective test strategies.
Test Execution:
- Execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure stability after fixes.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with developers and product managers to understand new features and functionalities.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on usability and potential problems.
- Communicate test results, issues, and recommendations effectively to the team.
Quality Assurance Processes:
- Develop and implement QA processes for new and existing products.
- Monitor and report on debugging process results.
- Track and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies to enhance product quality and release readiness.
Documentation:
- Maintain clear and updated documentation for test plans, test cases, and test processes.
