We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to maintain and enhance our company website.The ideal candidate should be proficient in WordPress, as well as other web content management tools, to ensure our website remains current, functional, and engaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Maintenance and Improvement:
- Regularly update and maintain our WordPress website, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to website functionality, layout, and content.
Content Management:
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to update website content, including text, images, and multimedia.
- Optimize website content for SEO and ensure compliance with web standards and accessibility guidelines
Web Development:
- Develop new features and functionalities as per business requirements.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific needs.
Technical Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to internal teams regarding website management.
- Train staff in using WordPress and other content management systems effectively.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with external agencies and internal teams on web projects.
- Report on website performance and suggest improvements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
- Proven experience in web development, particularly in WordPress and other industry-leading content management systems, such as Drupal & Joomla
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with other content management systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the website will adhere to them.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience: 3yrs+
