Shipping / Logistics Coordinator

Innoknits is in need of a full-time shipping/logistics coordinator to provide support for multiple business functions. Candidates must be well organized and detail-oriented and have knowledge of Logistics functions.

Requirements:

1~2 years’ experience in general logistics, specifically in import/export logistics, freight forwarding or shipping line or ocean experience
Fluent English in writing and speaking.
Quick learner and team worker.
Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Presses strong problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Detail orientated and ability to multitask

Job Description/Duties:

Support the logistic, documentation, and accounting processes.
Facilitate sample trafficking thru send outs & shipments via various courier services
Provide logistics support for import and export including: booking and shipping instructions to the logistics vendors, customers, special instructions to the warehouses, troubleshooting logistics issues, negotiate freight rates and terms with steamship lines and freight forwarding companies as needed
Ability to accurate document and having strong organizational skills are paramount as any changes to operating procedures, prioritization or any problems must be documented and communicated accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain close contact with individual customer service departments and warehouse personnel Develop, streamline and improve our supply chain processes with both vendors and customers for both export and import businesses.
Data entry into excel reports.
Tracks deliveries/shipments to ensure timely arrival of goods in compliance with import/export regulations.
Data entry, scan receipts, and filling
Other duties as assigned by the management
