Product Manager

We are seeking a Product manager to ensure our products comply with European CE standards including ISO 9001, BSCI, SEDEX and ISO 14001. The ideal candidate will oversee the CE certification process, manage regulatory documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain product compliance. This role is critical in ensuring our products meet European safety, performance, and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Certification & Compliance:

Manage and oversee the CE certification process for products.
Ensure compliance with European safety and quality standards.
Stay updated with the latest CE regulations and industry requirements.
Maintenance and certification of all compliances, including ISO 9001, BSCI and ISO 14001.

Documentation & Process Management:

Prepare, review, and submit necessary technical documentation for certification.
Maintain compliance records, test reports, and audit documentation.
Work with third-party testing agencies and certification bodies.

Collaboration & Communication:

Coordinate with production, design, and quality control teams to implement CE requirements.
Provide guidance and training to internal teams on compliance standards.
Address certification-related inquiries from customers and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for process improvement in compliance and certification.
Recommend necessary changes in manufacturing processes to meet CE standards.
Conduct internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in product certification, regulatory compliance, or quality assurance (preferably in the garment or textile industry).
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of CE certification for apparel products.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of European regulatory frameworks.
Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with international regulatory bodies.
Familiarity with ISO standards and other global certification frameworks.
Strong analytical skills to assess product compliance risks.
