Assessment of Civil work BOQs along with detail rate analysis.
Processing Material & Service requisition from user departments (both Local and foreign).
Ensuring compliance of procurement procedures & documentation w.r.t company's policies.
Timely execution of Material / Service requisitions provided by user departments.
Initiation & preparation of bidding documents as per APL Procurement Policy which includes RFQs, Comparative Statements & Approval Notes etc.
Review technical evaluation of bids received from user department and commercially evaluate the bids thoroughly.
Negotiate with vendors to secure the most advantageous terms ensuring maximum cost savings.
Ensuring Timely Preparation of purchase orders as per management approval /agreements & issuance to vendor.
Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of material as per Purchase Order timelines.
Liaison between vendors and end user department for conflicts resolution.
Coordination with Finance department for bill processing/LC opening.
Yearly performance assessment of all existing vendors.
Preparing document for Annual audit of Procurement department for ISO certification.
Maintain record of all procurement files/bid instruments for ready reference.
Undertake any other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned.
