What is Network Security Architect - MMBL?

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or a related role.
In-depth knowledge of network security protocols, firewall management, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and compliance regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Proficiency in security tools and software.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What Network Security Architect - MMBL does?

1. Security Infrastructure Design: Design and implement network security solutions, including firewalls, Advance WAF, Load balancers, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, Public cloud, hybrid cloud and access control lists.
2. Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans and protocols to address and mitigate security incidents and breaches.
3. Vulnerability Assessment: Regularly conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate network vulnerabilities.
4. Security Monitoring: Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and security threats, promptly responding to security incidents.
5. Policy Development: Develop and enforce network security policies, procedures, and standards.
6. Network Access Control: Manage user access, permissions, and authentication, implementing role-based access control (RBAC) and two-factor authentication (2FA).
7. Security Patch Management: Keep network devices and software up to date with the latest security patches and updates.
8. Security Documentation: Maintain comprehensive network security documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and incident reports.
9. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and legal, to ensure network security aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
