• Support Head Operational Risk to rollout the operational risk framework and strategy for the Bank within an agreed timeframe with a special focus on identification, assessment, monitoring, controlling and reporting operational risk inherent in all activities, products, processes and systems through tools such as Risk Registers, RCSA and KRIs.
    • 1. Support the Head Operational Risk to rollout the operational risk framework and strategy for the Bank within an agreed timeframe with a special focus on identification, assessment, monitoring, controlling and reporting operational risk inherent in all activities, products, processes and systems through tools such as Risk Registers, RCSA and KRIs.
    • 2. Supervise and lead risk reviews of Branchless and Digital Banking to mitigate associated risks and devising risk mitigation strategies.
    • 3. Supervise the following activities:
    • a. Prepare and maintain operational loss data along with root cause analysis and recommending controls to protect the bank against losses in future. To undertake continuous monitoring of key controls to assess the proper functioning and adequacy of existing controls, leading to effective management of Operational Risk.
    • b) Develop and monitor key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to ensure the escalation of significant risk issues to appropriate management levels.
    • c) Conducting/formulating RSCA/Risk Register to identify risks in processes of the Bank along with process owners. Devise action plans for addressing risks in conjunction with process owners.
    • d) Ensure timely escalation of significant risk issues to the Management and Board.
    • e) Preparation of timely & accurately reports to internal and external stakeholders
    • 4. Review of existing and new policies, procedures, SOPs or any other document including outsourcing arrangements.
    • 5. Performing UATs, system/application testing and advising relevant stakeholders to address associated risk issues.
    • 6. Develop strong relationship with key stakeholders and business partners by addressing issues/concerns in timely manner.
    • 7. Drive automation of Operational risk processes and implementation of risk analytics.
    • 8. Oversee business continuity Management - BCP testing to facilitate BCM governance and gauge bank s operational resilience in terms of business continuity management.
    • 9. Periodic conduct awareness/training sessions to bring in subject matter experts to promote awareness of Operational Risk in Business and support staff.
    • Hold a Master degree from a reputable Institution/MBA/CA Finalist/ACCA
    • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience/banking experience
