ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 To supervise the overall implementation of Plus component in accordance with the state of the art methodology in terms of technical, operational, and ethical aspects

 Capacity Building

  • Provide customized inputs to SM for maximum utilization of Social Mobilisers (Monthly work plan).
  • Evaluate performance of various sites, and coordinate with the Supervisor to ensure regular capacity building of staff as per need.
  • Assist in development, Implementation, monitoring and evaluation of  Standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocols and systems for Plus component services (referrals for ART registration, refills, and re-initiation)
  • Act as a resource person in training of field staff and provide input on the dynamics of spot and home settings with reference to motivational counseling, refills and adherence.

Routine oversight

  • Review of daily service delivery trends of SMZ services through MIS reports and provide inputs and feedback to field team through emails and phone calls.
  • Review the achieved targets in accordance with work plans and take actions for provision of Plus component services within the required time span.
  • Regularly review & update the performance with reference to Program protocols & guidelines and ensure application of these protocols in the desired manner.
  • Review SMZ work plans of all Project sites and conduct a comparative analysis in terms of increased access to services.
  • Regular check on issues and challenges faced by CoPC+ sites with Public sector facilities and propose strategies to mitigate the problems.

Field Visits

  • Ensure quality of services provided by SMZ through field visits.
  • Review the client files and referral documents for observation and feedback
  • Client files consistency between hard & soft record (baseline investigation, ART registration records, , ARV distribution logs, Service delivery sheet , advanced treatments including TB , HCV and other co-infections)
  • Conduct periodical client feedback interviews on the efficacy of Plus component services and suggest measures for improvement.

Correspondence & Coordination

  • Close coordination with the M & E to verify the data quality, data management, tracking tools, and data synthesis in line with performance indicators.
  • Closely work with MIS department for the development of essential reports of Plus component.
  • Implementation of feedback and recommendations provided by M & E department. (Quarterly)
  • Assist in development of city wise targets of Plus component services for each reporting period. (Bi-annual)
  • Participate in planning meetings and provide input on service planning for Plus component services.
  • Any other tasks /support assigned by line Manager/Supervisor.
