We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will provide support to our staff and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of all technical equipment. The ideal candidate is someone who is tech-savvy, problem-solving-oriented, and can work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues for both hardware and software.
- Perform system updates, backups, and virus protection procedures.
- Manage IT equipment inventory and procure necessary hardware.
- Provide technical support via phone, email, or in person.
- Monitor system performance and maintain security protocols.
- Collaborate with external vendors and manage third-party support services.
- Assist with IT-related projects, such as server upgrades or software migrations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of 2-3 years as an IT Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Basic networking skills (LAN, WAN, VPN).
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining IT equipment.
- Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
