Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries, and services with suppliers.  Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment and the urgent nature of requirements in the production line.  Obtain quotations from various vendors; prepare a comparative statement(s) for final decision making of procurement & order placement.  Issuances of purchase orders and negotiate delivery dates with the successful vendors.  Ensuring on-time delivery performance (OTD) in a production line  Maintain existing relationships with vendors; identify and locate new suppliers for current and future needs and as a backup of each supplier.  Prepare Purchase Orders of imports; liaise with vendors and local agents ensuring timely delivery of products and services
