I am a dedicated development professional with over a decade of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), public health, education, disaster risk reduction, and human rights advocacy. I have worked extensively in remote and vulnerable communities of Sindh, Pakistan, focusing on projects that address gender-based violence (GBV), child rights, early marriages, and equitable access to healthcare. My expertise includes leading diverse teams, managing large-scale community development programs, and conducting rigorous data analysis to ensure project impact and accountability.
Currently, as the District Project Officer (DPO) with NRSP Mirpurkhas under the Building Healthy Families (BHF) initiative, I focus on family planning, maternal and child health, and GBV. I lead district teams in capacity building and community awareness, training stakeholders on issues such as women's rights and the protection of vulnerable groups. My work includes close collaboration with local health authorities and civil society to promote social change and advocate for human rights.
Previously, I managed WASH programs for flood-affected communities and coordinated tuberculosis control initiatives in high-burden areas. Additionally, I have experience designing and implementing programs that address basic human rights, particularly in gender-inclusive community planning, the rights of children, and womens protection mechanisms, such as the Women Protection Cell (1094).
Driven by a passion for sustainable development and human rights, I seek to contribute to initiatives that uphold the dignity and rights of marginalized populations while advancing the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
