Oryza is rice exporter company of Pakistan and also a member of well known Rice export association of Pakistan (R.E.A.P) and produces very high quality rice.

As a chief accountant, responsible for defining the companys commercial model across export and local sales decision and developing overall business strategy to maximize revenue, profit and growth.
Analyzing financial data and preparing financial statements and accounting information and reports for directors and proposing recommendation.
Preparing analyzing the various estimates for the quarter or the next year.
Involved in daily overseeing the management of companies financial systems and budgets.
Organizing and maintaining accurate accounting records by proper following the international accounting standards (I.A.Ss).
Holding monthly meetings to review over-head reports with departmental heads.
Slashed overhead cost by 40 by proper budgeting and allocation of resources. Operational efficiency also contributed to decrease the O.H.D cost through automation.
Valuing the finished stock and quoting sale price for export.
Implementation the concept of economic order quantity and forecasting the sales volume unit to meet the targeted profit level.
Involved in re-negotiation of major agreement like outsourcing of labor or in-sourcing labor.

Key Achievements / Assignments

Proved the basic rationale of my hiring correct and turned the loss making unit into profit of Rs. 4,506,191/-.
Introduction the concept of E.O.Q and max utilization of truck space for purchased raw material slashed the holding cost and carriage inward cost from Rs 1.20 per kg to Rs. 0.44 per kg.
Automation the production process improved the operating efficiency and ultimately provided the net benefit of Rs.0.25 per kg.
Prepared the feasibility report for hydroponics technology system and convinced the 1 foreigner
director for investment.

I had worked in Riaz & co Chartered accountant as an Audit Assistant in the above mentioned time period. Its my pleasure to share that it was very awesome experience to work in Riaz & co Chartered accountant. Riaz & co Chartered accountant proven to be learning organisation for me because i learned very much there.
There i learned to apply my bookish knowledge in practice and i do come into know how to get benefit from bookish knowledge.

There i worked on number of audit assignment as well as non audit services like preparation of accounts for clients and Tax assignment.

Reviewing overall Trial Balance position and highlight any significant misstatement found.

Investigate the highlighted issues and queries regarding the issue.

Taking essential measures to resolve the issues in guidance of CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

Documented the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) for the Procurement Department and for the Cash Department.

Monitoring the formulated procedures, are executing in an efficient and timely manner.

Generate and maintain Financial Statements reports as per IASs (International Accounting Standards).

Handling month end tasks such as processing journals, expense accruals and analyzing Profit & Loss Accounts and Balance sheet.

Analyze and review the receivables and payables control ledgers.

Liaison with the Internal and External auditors for their respective reports.

Submission of different Corporate forms to SECP (Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan).

Implementation of effective Internal Control System.

In 2013, I had got my first internship opportunity to work with an accounting software provider company as a trainee accountant. There I had learned how the words of books are working practically. There I had get knowledge of how the journal entry proceeded to ledger and next to the trial balance. It was good experience to start my career.

The responsibilities i was performing there are listed below.

Supervising the Payable Control Account.

Assist the Manager Accounts in Preparation of Monthly/ Annually Accounts

Report to the Management on the payable position of Company

Monitor the Inward Gate Passes along with the relevant bills.

Supervising the Imprest Accounts of staff Members.

Implementation of effective internal control systems.

Guide and assist staff on different accounting matters.

Handling month end tasks such as processing journals, expense accruals and analyzing Profit & Loss, trial balance generation and adjustment.
