Core Responsibilities.
• Reviewing Sales data to forecast inventory levels based on historical sales patterns and current market conditions• Coordinating the flow of materials between suppliers and warehouses or stores• Negotiating with suppliers for prices and terms of delivery of items such as food, beverages, cleaning supplies, paper products and healthcare items• Managing inventory levels by placing orders for new products and arranging for the shipment of items from storage locations• Evaluating which items are selling well in order to determine whether to replenish stock or replace with new items• Estimating how much inventory is needed to meet customer demand• Coordinating with other departments to ensure that new products are available to consumers in a timely manner• Communicating with suppliers about any issues that may arise during the ordering process• Tracking and expediting orders by working on system to ensure goods are shipping on time and lead-time are correct and accurate• Plan on a daily basis for shipment of product to stores as per the specified level• Ensure a proper store allocation• Set store wise stock standards at SKU level• Develop replenishment strategies for merchandise department• Responsible for efficient operations of the warehouse management system• Responsible to create, monitor and take action against defined KPIs• Responsible to analyze trends in demand, creating replenishment strategies that achieve desired service levels, anticipating future needs and motivating the team.• Interface with Store Operations, Sales, internal Supply Chain, Finance Management and senior management.
