FINAL YEAR PROJECT"DYNAMIC CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ENERGY OPTIMIZATION IN ELECTRIC VEHICLES:
The main objective of this object is to design and implement a dynamic cruise control system for electric vehicles where set point is calculated based on road gradient to ensure maximum efficiency.
We Simulate Induction Motor in Simscape drive line where we attached rotational load and its value was changed several time to observe the behavior of induction motor at different loads.
A subsystem was made to calculate the efficiency of motor .To know the electrical properties of induction motor we simulate induction motor in simscape Power technology .It enabled us to express input and output power of induction motor in term of line voltages and current.. As we had determined the relationship between efficiency and speed. We found the range of speed at which the induction motor was highly efficient, and considered it the reference speed .The rotor speed of the induction motor was controlled using the scalar V/f control method. We modeled the induction motor in “simscape power system” for the cruise control by using single block called “Space Vector PWM VSI induction motor Drive” The reference speed was selected so that the motor could operate with maximum efficiency. The output speed of the induction motor tracked the reference speed accurately which means that the induction motor during the same interval was highly efficient.The main objective of this object is to design and implement a dynamic cruis
Arithmetic Logic Unit
An arithmetic logic unit (ALU) is a digital circuit used to perform arithmetic and logic operations. It represents the fundamental building block of the central processing unit (CPU) of a computer. Modern CPUs contain very powerful and complex ALUs. In addition to ALUs, modern CPUs contain a control unit (CU).
Most of the operations of a CPU are performed by one or more ALUs, which load data from input registers. A register is a small amount of storage available as part of a CPU. The control unit tells the ALU what operation to perform on that data, and the ALU stores the result in an output register. Band pass Filter
Band Pass Filters can be used to isolate or filter out certain frequencies that lie within a particular band or range of frequencies. The cut-off frequency or ƒc point in a simple RC passive filter can be accurately controlled using just a single resistor in series with a non-polarized capacitor, and depending upon which way around they are connected, we have seen that either a Low Pass or a High Pass filter is obtained.
One simple use for these types of passive filters is in audio amplifier applications or circuits such as in loudspeaker crossover filters or pre-amplifier tone controls. Sometimes it is necessary to only pass a certain range of frequencies that do not begin at 0Hz, (DC) or end at some upper high frequency point but are within a certain range or band of frequencies, either narrow or wide.
By connecting or “cascading” together a single Low Pass Filter circuit with a High Pass Filter circuit, we can produce another type of passive RC filter that passes a selected range or “band” of frequencies that can be either narrow or wide while attenuating all those outside of this range. This new type of passive filter arrangement produces a frequency selective filter known commonly as a Band Pass Filter or BPF for short.
