As Manager (O&M) look after all operation and maintenance projects of the company

 Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all electrical and control equipment, components and installations.
Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Ensure that equipment’s are in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities.
Installation of fresh electrical and Control components and fittings.
Recommend replacement for old or faulty electrical and Control components or fittings to the management.
Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget and scheduling expenses for the electrical and Control department.
Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company’s equipment.
Ensure that all electrical gadgets and instruments are switched off after close of work daily.
Fix and maintain lighting fixtures and fittings.
Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services.
Provide safe working environment for members of staff and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented.
Purchase fittings and components or supervise the staff charged with the responsibility.
Provide 24 hours a day maintenance services or assign technical staff to do so.
Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.

Manage all the documentation regarding shift.
Maintain daily and monthly generation record for client and office.
Safely start unit for commercial operation and safely handle the emergency situation.
Load management as per demand and hydrology of dam.
Provide safe and smooth environment for maintenance.
Provide work to permit, safety tags and trouble report regarding faulty equipment's.
Manage Shift staff accordingly.
Communication with power purchasers and Grid station.
Making Daily , Monthly and Annual reports.

Operation & Maintenance of the plant in one shift.
Energizing the Auxiliary system through Power Transformer from Switchyard in case when the Plants Units are Standstill, during emergency Shutdown or When the Unit is Under Permit for necessary maintenance work. Also, to restore the Auxiliary Power system during normal running of Units.
Hand on Practical Experience to Start Unit for Commercial Generation and Stop the Units under emergency conditions.
Load management as per the demand and production to change the load (MW/MVAr) as per demand, System Constraints and water availability.
To pressurized and depressurize the Governor system for access of maintenance work under permit.
Contributing technical expertise in co-generation power plant maintenance and operation.
Monitoring, Acknowledging and Identifying Power Plant, Switchyard and Forebay abnormalities through SCADA at Central Control Room.
Complete command on MMS (Maintenance Management System). Writing station Log, Preparing Trouble Reports, Issuing Self Protection Tag, requesting PTW through software based MMS.
