I offer 13 years of expertise in designing and executing both quantitative and qualitative Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) processes within international and national NGOs, spanning across development and emergency settings. My professional background is marked by hands-on experience in challenging security environments, adverse weather conditions, and disaster-impacted regions.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated with reputable organizations such as Save the Children, ACTED, World Vision, Muslim Aid, DAI Pakistan, and Care International Pakistan, key stakeholders such as the UN, USAID, BHA,FCDO,ECHO,BPRM, ,USAID,MARS,GIZ, Australian Government, and other bilateral organizations. Currently I am working with WFP as program and ME Associate with BISP program Islamabad.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assigning the M&E targets to the sub-offices for implementation, using the risk-based monitoring approach and reporting the achievements.
2. Review the progress of real-time data collection from Facilitation Centers on the quality benchmarks checklists and report the trends and issues to the M&E teams and the BNP-PMU.
3. Ensure that distribution reports are timely submitted to COMET and the food distribution information is reconciled.
4. Provide support in collection of beneficiaries' summary data and its management and reporting through a dashboard.
5. Ensuring that the provincial-offices have adequate monitoring coverage of the BNP Facilitation centers (FCs) as per the monitoring plans and targets.
6. Ensuring that the sub-offices have adequate monitoring coverage of the social mobilization/social and behavioral change communication (SBCC) interventions in the purview of each FC.
7. Ensuring that data from sub-offices is timely collected, analyzed, and reported to the relevant stakeholders (primarily the Head of M&E Unit and the BNP-PMU).
8. Supporting the M&E Unit in other functions such as validation, process monitoring, and PDM surveys.
9. Supporting various reviews, special studies, assessments, and evaluations with qualitative and quantitative data analysis and report writing.
10. Maintain information records in accordance with the relevant data policies of WFP.
11. Receive and collate comments and feedback from field monitoring staff, cooperating partners and beneficiaries, and support identifying programmatic issues to foster efficient operations.
12. Report issues or discrepancies to the supervisor/programme colleagues for their timely resolution and to ensure that the quality of interventions is in line with WFP standards.
13. Report the critical field-related issues in the issues tracking sheet/SugarCRM and provide feedback for timely closure.
14. Provide guidance to the cooperating partners on WFP operational practices, monitoring tools and methods in order to support them to complete self-monitoring tasks and to contribute to the visibility of WFP in the coverage areas.
15. Ensure that the CP performance assessments on the prescribed checklist are timely completed by the sub-offices
16. Ensure that the improvement action plans for the relevant CPs are timely drafted and their implementation is tracked and followed up
Utilize Support in development of M&E plans and ensure that it is followed up during implementation;
Assist the project in identifying key compliance/quality questions and parameters capitalizing on the existing checklists and minimum standards for monitoring project performance;
Facilitate design of “SMART” objectives, logic models, monitoring frameworks, and evaluation plans during work-planning process;
Assist MEAL Manager and Proposal development department for the development of Concept notes and budgets for the new funding opportunities.
Contribute to the development of annual work plans to identify project targets and ensure inclusion of M&E activities;

Establish and manage Complaint and Feedback Mechanism which facilitate beneficiaries/communities to register complaints and share feedback;
Conduct quality control tests on all incoming data and supervise data entry and data cleaning/editing processes;
Conduct field visits for data validation and to monitor the quality and completeness of data sets; coordinate data collection at project sites to monitor program development and ensure timely compilation and reporting of data; capture and document lessons learned; and champion the scaling up best practices;
Carry out follow-up monitoring visits to materialize actions agreed in the action plan;
Carry out data quality assessments/ audits regularly for MEAL data based on agreed indicators to guide decision making;
Maintain existing indicator tracking tools; develop additional databases and tracking tools as needed to demonstrate the effectiveness of project interventions;
Generate monthly indicator reports for tracking progress against key indicators as needed
Review monthly progress reports from partners and ensure they have evidence to back-up and provide feedback to the respective staff;
Collate/ prepare regional reports related to internal reporting such as the quarterly and annual reports;
Ensure that cross cutting issues such as participation, gender, age and disability are effectively addressed/ mainstreamed in all project implementations as part of ensuring accountability according to CARE’s programming principles;
Ensure Sex, Age, Disability Disaggregated Data (SADD), Accountability and Gender standards are consistently adhered in programme delivery;
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with local partner organization, donors, private sectors partners, and national authorities;
Support the IP to collect case studies, success stories and share it with internal and external audiences;
Plan and coordinate project reviews, evaluations to be conducted internally or externally as required by project M&E plan.
Ensure the effective field coordination, implementation of project activities and team management
Utilize practical tools and methodologies to assemble data required on a recurrent basis to track CRA-USAID program performance for the small grants program to measure the impact of activities.
Ensure that lessons and best practices derived through implementation of project are well articulated and documented
Undertake field visits to project sites to Provide technical guidance and oversight over data collection activities
Assist with period and systematic data collection and analysis of project results indicators, in conjunction with relevant project staff.
Contribute to donor proposals and fundraising efforts (particularly logical-framework designs and formulation of SMART indicators) and reports, through analysis and interpretation of findings;

Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders’ clusters, Forums, Working groups etc.

Responsible for managing the Project Progress Matrices/ tracking sheets (PPMs) and other data gathering tools based on key performance indicators of all projects/programs and make sure that district offices provide data on timely basis.

Projects Major accomplishments during the work tenure include developing and reviewing strategic and operational plans. Development and utilization of tools and guidance notes towards effective and efficient performance tracking and measurement and practical guidance to ensure better use of Sphere Standards in monitoring humanitarian programs; Documented processes for best practices and lessons learnt based on program approaches relevant to the implementation of supported interventions and also contributed to enhance the reporting capacity of staff through training, workshops and other capacity building initiatives.
