Responsibilities:
Working as sub section head in pyro and coal plant section.
Study and prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems and re-design electrical system whenever modification is required.
Troubleshooting of major faults of electrical equipment and control panels that may cause shutdown.
Maintenance of various equipment (MV motors, LT motors, Slip rings, Liquid Rheostat Starter, MV Switchgears(AEG), motor control panels (AEG & SIEMENS) etc.).
Installation and Troubleshooting of Frequency Inverters (SIEMENS SIMOVERT MASTER DRIVES, INVT,PUMA & DANFOSS) and Soft Starter (ABB).
Inspection & testing of protection relays and variable frequency drives.
Monitor and report project status to Manager (Electrical) on regular basis.
Manage and Prepare schedule for maintenance of electrical equipment and electrical system.
Performed routine maintenance, inspections of equipment to identify and respond to problems in a timely manner (PFI panels, Motors, MV Panels, LV Panel etc.)
To maintain the preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance records and history cards of electrical equipment of overall plant.
Maintenance of Low Voltage ACBs, Medium Voltage VCBs and SF6 (6.3kv) Circuit Breakers make (Merlin Gerin, AEG, AREVA T&D, Siemens etc).
Responsibilities:

To troubleshoot the various faults during the running of the plant (both MCCs and PLCs).
Maintenance and troubleshooting of liquid rheostat starter.
To keep the records of preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of overall plant.
Served as Electrical Shift Incharge.
Maintenance of electrical equipment as HT motors, Slip rings, LT Motors etc
Responsibilities:
Worked in power house where I understood power house system and load management.
Take part in maintenance of 4 generators (Gauscor) of 952 kW each as active member.
Worked in electrical workshop where got hand on experience of maintenance of 3 phase induction motors up to 100 kW.

Directly worked on floor where I understood electrical drawings of motor control switchgear panels.
Worked in inspection and testing section (cold and hot testing)
Worked on panels in different aspects (panel assembling, component marking, component fixing, control and power wiring )
