• Contributed towards the development of a protection and solutions strategy of AFGHAN refugees in the AoR consistent with SHARP & UNHCRs priorities and commitments; support country programming for protection from planning to evaluation including contingency planning and advocate for adequate resource allocations
• Stayed abreast of political, social, economic and security developments of AFGHAN refugees that have an impact on the protection environment and protection delivery capacity and advise the senior management in the overall management of SHARP & UNHCR’s operations with relevant to AFGHAN refugees.
• Coordinated quality, timely and effective protection responses to the needs of persons of concern in the AoR including emergency responses.
• Maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the protection service guided by common strategic, principled and practical protection objectives, working towards increased protection impact in line with the regional strategies to support AFGHAN refugees.
• Coordinated a consultative process (through Country Offices in the region, if applicable) with government counterparts, partners and persons of concern to develop and implement the protection and solutions strategies at the country level.
• Oversee the project implementation of legal assistance and Advice and Legal Aid Center (ALAC) Project. This project serves thousands of Afghan Refugees and asylum seekers legally and through registration as per mandate of UNHCR.
• Ensured the core Project Documents (Agreement, ITT, Budget, DIP) are developed and updated to reflect the project progression and updating both donor and supervisor in case of any delays.
• Managed and continuously monitor the project budget and ensure timely procurement and expenditure is maintained to avoid under or over-spending.

• Supervises, mentors, and technically supports Experts deployed to SHARP-Pakistan, to ensure high quality, efficient and professional implementation of the deployment program.

Manage, supervise and control multiple project through project life cycle
Establishing and maintaining linkages strong linkage with the community based structures as well as local government. • Support the MEAL Officer to generate qualitative and quantitative data to document milestones of project progress and submit to the Project coordinator on monthly basis • Assist the MEAL officer for conducting regular monitoring and reporting. • Keep the Project coordinator updated on the progress of the project and any issues that may arise during the course of the implementation that need Project coordinators’ attention • Update the Project coordinator and security officer on any information related to security and follow security instructions of the organisation strictly. • On regular basis, collect district data of program activities, review and check to ensure that all information is correct and adequate • Compile district data and information into agreed system and files so that they are readily available and accessible for reports. • Support community in establishing and organizing community based disaster management committee. • Plan and implement training activities for community based structures and local government, partners using latest disaster risk reduction best practices. • Plan and implement training activities for school based structures and school teachers using latest disaster risk reduction best practices. • Organize disaster simulation activities in the field in coordination with CDMC and local government. • Conduct participatory HVCA in community to build risk map ensuring the participation of children. • Support community based disaster management committee in developing community based disaster preparedness and response plan. • Support school management committee in developing school based disaster preparedness and response plan. • Plan and carry out disaster awareness and campaign • Develop weekly activity work plan and report community mobilizers and him/her self. • Develop case studies / success stories from project activities for the purpose of donor and policy decision makers. • Any other related task assigned by the Project coordinator or senior management of SCI.
