Lead Supply Chain Management
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures;
• Maintaining record of all the shipments involved in the project;
• Liaison with the suppliers/manufacturers for preparation of documents according to customs regulations, laws or procedures before dispatch of shipments;
• Arranging insurance before the dispatch of shipment;
• Arranging freight forwarding of all the shipments (sea/air)
• Strong liaison with the clearing agent for timely arrangement of duty demand and filing of GD ;
• Follow-up with the clearing agent for timely clearance of shipment in order to avoid demurrages;
• Arranging transportation before the clearance of goods from customs and monitoring return of empty container in order to avoid detention charges;
• Recording of vendor’s invoices in SAP by passing service entry sheets, parking of invoices.
