As a UCPO I have to perform the following duties to assist the health management team in polio program in KPTD Kurram. I. Data analysis of each polio round which will be the base for the next round. II. Micro-planning like its preparation, desk and field validations for every SIAs. III. District, Tehsil, UCs and Areas level social mapping for polio campaigns. IV. Selection of polio/measles supervisors and their team members as per National Emergency Action Plan guide lines. V. Arrangement of UC/Area supervisors training, motivation and evaluation. VI. Assist the UC polio/measles supervisors in teams training session. VII. Field data analysis for each campaign. which includes tally sheets analysis, compilation sheet analysis and logistics analysis VIII. Monitoring and supportive supervision for the campaign implementation with special attention to hard-to-reach areas during campaign for qualitative results. IX. Meetings with formal/informal health care providers for AFP surveillance. X. Arranging AFP surveillance awareness sessions at school and community level. XI. Assist PEO and DSO in stool sample collection of AFP case. XII. Promote good relation and partnership with all influencing factors at UC level in support of SIAs. XIII. Facilitating the work of independent monitors. XIV. Participation and verification of still missed children tracking to insure ``two drops of polio to every last child’’.

As a social mobilizer in KPTD kurram I did the following duties and responsibilities;
I. Mobilizing and convincing the refused families from polio drops in the communities.
II. Attending schools and communities polio awareness sessions at school and community levels.
III. Organizing school polio awareness walks in different UCs.
IV. Arrangement of polio banners for awareness sessions.
V. Preparing UC/Areas wise social maps to facilitate polio supervisors and vaccinators.
VI. Weekly meetings with community influencers for quality polio campaign.
VII. Giving morning briefing to the mobile teams at UC team support center.
VIII. Monitoring and supervision of mobile, transit and fixed teams during campaign.
IX. Participating in the field data analysis.
X. Verification of vaccination status of still missed children
XI. Maintaining daily working reports in official diary.
XII. Tentative planning for the next week activities.

1) Participation in training session for enumerators.
2) Meetings with community leaders to fill their poverty score cards.
3) Preparing and designing UC level maps to facilitate team work in the field.
4) Monitoring and supervision of enumerators for qualitative survey in field.
5) UC level meeting with monitor, forward campaigner, Aditor and team leaders.
6) Collection of forms and preparation of daily progress working report.
7) Daily evening meeting with team members and attending tahsil level meetings.
8) Sharing data with district team leader on daily bases.
9) Arranging special meetings with refusal families to convince them for the survey.
10) Usage of GPS device in the community.
11) Participation in mobilization session of forward campaigner
12) Utilizing the monitors for the quality survey output.
