• The main responsibilities were to mange teams and assign them their duties.
• Follow of planed activities of each team and identification of gaps during monitoring field visits.
• Meeting with different stakeholders regarding project related events and issues and dissemination of MRE session to them to make them aware about project nature
• Weekly planning and weekly reporting to the concerned line mangers
• Management of food and non-food items for distribution to the targeted communities
• Planning and targeting the safe points for food distribution
• Briefly disseminating seven fundamental principles and seven pillars of security of RC/RC movement to the teams before deployment to field for distribution
• Monitoring the field activities and identifying the gaps and resolving the issues
• Dissemination of Seven fundamental principles and core area of work (Mandate) of RC/RC Movement to the all stakeholders
• Dissemination of seven pillars of security and clearness of area for the teams deployment and daily contact with law & force men agencies for the purpose of staff security
Participates in the assessment and monitoring of the humanitarian situation in the area and general political / socio-economical / security situation
Assists in the implementation of protection activities – protection of the civilian population and regular visits to places of detention
Promotes and disseminates the principles of International Humanitarian Law
Liaises with internal ICRC departments for organization of specific events within the area of coverage (i.e. media training, photo exhibit, etc.; links with the local media; participation in the production of ICRC dissemination material such as the Newsletter)
Coordinates with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) local chapters for joint ICRC/PRC activities
Writes reports on a periodic and project basis
Establishes and maintains contacts with various groups, including individual beneficiaries, humanitarian organizations and local authorities
Contributes to the formulation of objectives, plans of action and preparation of budgets
Reports events and changes within the region that could have an impact on ICRC’s
Assist in strengthening the accountability mechanisms; this includes documenting and (monitoring) follow-up on feedback and complaints of beneficiaries.
• Ensure that data is collected and entered into data management system on a regular basis.
• Verify data for completeness, correctness, and consistency and follow up on any data quality issues.
• Deal with complaint responses and develop mechanism for complaints.
• Ensuring that all records are properly organized and stored in data management system.
• Work with PMER coordinator on designing and / or updating the MEAL tools
• Ensure that children, women and other vulnerable community members are actively participating in project monitoring activities
• Any other task as assigned by supervisor
As a Security Team Leader you will be responsible for: Leading a team of security personnel. Use of IT systems for access control, site patrolling, emergency response, cash collection, report generating, incident investigation and all other standard security duties.
The Economic Security (EcoSec) Generalist manages the implementation of the EcoSec programs in Banadir and Lower Shabelle regions in line with the adopted strategy and standard operating tools and procedures. He/she is involved in programs planning, budgeting, assessment, design, response, monitoring and reporting. And acts as the Team leader for the EcoSec resident staff based in Mogadishu
