I have more than five years experience of teaching, teacher training, curriculum development and research. Since December 2016, I have been working with Sindh Education Foundation, Government of Sindh as a Junior Officer (Training & Deployement in Introducing Smart Teaching and Learning (INSTAL) Project. Simultaneoulsy, I have also been working as a Visiting Faculty Member at Sindh Madressah Board since March, 2018. Besides, I have also served as a Teacher in public and private schools for more than three years.
I have double Master degrees- MS Educational Leadership and Management from SZABIST Karachi and MBA from Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. My core competencies include Teachers’ Training, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation and Curriculum Development.
The major responsibilities of Jr. Officer – INSTAL (Training & Deployment) include, but not limited to;
• Develop training modules and plan for teachers training on digital content
• Conduct teachers training on teaching with digital resources and the ICT components of the project across the province
• Conduct post training lesson observations and mentoring of teachers
• Build capacity of stakeholders on blended learning (including Head Teachers and School Operators)
• Work with partner firm to dovetail context-based pedagogies with ICT solution at SEF supported schools
• Conduct Need Assessment and build teachers capacity through training and mentoring
• Review digital content of English and Science and report to the partner firm for updation of digital content
• Coordinate with academic team for digital content review
• Coordinate and lead trainers of different regions for training related activities
• Carry out school inspection and monitoring to ensure proper arrangements for ICT based teaching and learning in SEF Schools
• Develop activity based, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Provide school-based support as and when required

• Conduct Teachers Training on digital content of English and Science
• Conduct Need Assessment of English, Science and Social Studies teachers and build their capacity through training and mentoring
• Teach English to Secondary classes students
• Preparing annual teaching plan
• Teaching arts subjects especially English
• Assessing students learning outcomes through oral and written tests
• Organizing different extra-curricular programs
• Initiating campaigns to mobilize communities to bring out-of-school children to school
• Holding parental meetings
• Organizing lecture programs in the school
• Teaching English Grammar, Creative Writing and Reading and Comprehension
• Preparing students for debate and speech competitions, group discussions and presentations
