In the long term, the project aims to enhance the resilience of vulnerable populations in Pakistan by reducing the adverse effects of climate-related natural hazards. The second phase of the project concluded in 2024. Currently, the Climate Advocacy and Coordination for Resilient Action (CACRA) initiative has entered its third phase, which spans three years. During this phase, the project will operate at micro, meso, and macro levels across Pakistan's provinces, including Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan, to address climate challenges and promote sustainable resilience.
Worked in Growth For Rural Advancement and Sustainable Progress (GRASP), one
of the leading projects of RDF since April 2023. GRASP is an EU-funded six-year project,
being implemented by UN International Trade Center in partnership with Pakistan Poverty
Alleviation Fund (PPAF) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to reduce poverty
in Pakistan by strengthening Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and small-scale
agribusinesses in livestock/horticulture sectors.
RDF is a CPC-certified NGO, implementing PPAF-supported two components of GRASP i.e.
Rural Mobilization and Access to Finance in three districts of Sindh; Thatta, Sujawal and
Tando Muhammad Khand.
Worked as Project Officer in a GRASP-EU-funded six-year project, implemented by
UN International Trade Centre, RDF is implementing with the support of PPAF.
