Data Analytics Consulting - virtual Intern
KPMG’s Data Analytics Consulting-Virtual Internship Program focuses on articulating the mystery out of big data and to leverage client's data resources to produce better business outcomes. This is a project-based internship that deals with the real business data.
The Data analytics process is divided in three tasks: -
1) Data Quality Assessment:
I had to draft an email to the client identifying the data quality issues and strategies to mitigate these issues. I used Excel for filtering data and constructing a summary table that focused on 'Standard Data Quality Dimensions"
2) Data Insights:
I had to make a presentation that included 3 phases as follows - Data Exploration; Model Development and Interpretation, eventually I highlighted the top 1000 customers for the company, out of 40k+ customers, using RFM Analysis. I used Excel for data analytics, data visualization and customer segmentation and Canva.com for making presentation.
3)Data Insights and Dashboard:
I had to display the final data sets, data visualization and summary results of the analysis in a dashboard, and for that I used Tableau.
