As a Manager Accounts at Tourism Promotion Services (Pakistan) Limited–Owners & Managers of Serena Hotels in Pakistan, I am primarily responsible for following areas:
Supervising a team of four executives and reviewing their work relating to payments, dealing with banks, recording
and posting of transactions and executing assigned tasks.
Preparing Management and IFRS accounts of Head Office and related schedules.
Preparing Consolidated Management and IFRS accounts from individual properties accounts.
Coordination with Unit Finance and consolidating KPIs of all units for onward reporting to various stake holders.
Preparing monthly reports based on Early Bird Highlight (EBR Reports).
Supervising the leasing function of the Company relating to Company assisted and company provided vehicle.
Liaison with banks for loans and other financial arrangement (Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantees).
Ensuring compliance with local tax laws and file income and sales tax returns on timely basis.
Liaison with FBR & SECP for filing Financials and Tax Returns of the Company.
Preparing board papers.
Preparing Budgets and forecasts.
Responsible for external audits of the Company.
Being Audit Supervisor I was responsible for audit of various clients. I was managing group of three to fours teams at a time and got an extensive knowledge of Telecom, Oil & Gas, Energy Sector and Development Sector.
