A humanitarian professional with an experience of over 15 years. Member of the IFRC pool of Emergency Team Leaders (ETL) with specialized training from IFRC on humanitarian leadership. Experience of managing large scale integrated emergency response and recovery operations within the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, UN Agencies and International NGOs. Led multisectoral teams for the planning, management, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of projects regarding, social mobilization, equality and human rights issues, community development, livelihoods, health, WASH, education and providing social sector services. Specific expertise of managing large donor funded projects (including Norwegian MFA, Norad, DFID-UKAID, USAID, ECHO, DPECHO, GEF Japan, MAPS Ireland).
Afghanistan
Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Mechanism- Managed technical and practical inputs to the design and implementation of effective planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting system for NorCross Afghanistan office. In addition to conventional field monitoring, I introduced remote monitoring mechanism and community engagement and accountability approach for informed decision-making & effective program management. Led the process for organization of baselines, programme reviews, and evaluations for recording and reporting progress, and ensuring program adaptation according as per the findings of the research.
Myanmar
Results Management System- Supported the development of NorCross Myanmar program for conflict affected population with initial assessments and program design with effective implementation strategies. Put in place an M&E mechanism that ensures programmatic decisions are informed by field level research with engagement of key community stakeholders. Ensured key achievements and progress and issues are highlighted through a robust monthly, tertial and annual reporting mechanism. Ensured technical training of NorCross Myanmar staff on Management Information System as well as Power-bi dashboard. Led the digitalization of data tracking and reporting system.
Pakistan
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Digitalization- Supported the team for conducting surveys, process monitoring and developed participatory M&E systems. Piloted the database management system (DMIS2) for effective program reporting. Performed responsibility for acquisition of external funding, narrative and analytical reports of projects under implementation, reviews / research on the existing aid coordination architecture and mechanisms.
§ Leadership and Management- Lead the country team of Norwegian Red Cross and managed an yearly portfolio of NOK 16M with special focus on coordination of planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of Norwegian Red Cross supported integrated community based programmes in the areas of Health (MNCH, HIV/AIDS awareness, WatSan and Hygiene Promotion, etc.), Community Based Disaster Management/Disaster Risk Reduction, Organizational Development, livelihoods, and humanitarian support across Pakistan. Ensure effective human resource development and management for effective achievements.
§ Development, Implementation and Quality Assurance of Programmes- Lead the process of development of 4 long term projects and ensured funding from NMFA and NORAD for 3 projects (worth NOK 32M) since joining the organization in January 2013. Managed 5 integrated projects 3 in Sindh, 1 in AJK and 1 in FATA with implementation support of IFRC, ICRC and Pakistan Red Crescent Society. Continuous feedback and periodic support to the implementing agencies and sub ordinates for course correction and successful implementation of the programme/projects.
Representation, Coordination, and Communication- Ensured effective coordination within sectoral programmes and with internal and external partners by organizing and participating in coordination meetings and forums at national/regional level.
