The Field Officer will report to the Senior Coordination and Implementation Specialist (SCIS) in close coordination with the Project Manager, with day-to-day reporting to the designated MAGP Field Implementation Specialists (FISs).
Detailed Results
Support implementation of work plan in close coordination with the DC Office and other relevant government entities at district level
Manage assigned project activities and culminate them into assigned outputs
Collect, check, verify, and compile data from the field as directed by MAGP Team
Organize and conduct data collection and stakeholders consultation as and when required by organizing FGDs, interviews and meetings when needed
Organize sensitization and learning activities with various stakeholders, including local communities
Review and compile field reports and any other reports as requested by the MAGP Team
Draft district level policy briefs when needed
Manage events in the district under the MAGP workplan, as required
Mobilization of relevant stakeholders for various meetings, training workshops and other project activities
Track progress of performance indicators on a periodic basis in close coordination with the district administration and MAGP team
Provide technical support to district administration/line departments on MAGP activities
Building linkages between beneficiaries, relevant governmental departments, and MAGP Team
Work (DPs) will be assigned at the start of each month with specific allocated days for each assignment. Field officers will submit their monthly progress report at the end of the month.

Reporting structure and Coordination: The overall results of this position are to successful roll-out a comprehensive local government education project by engaging with the citizens of the Merged Areas including students, influencers, elected representatives and women.
Performance Indicators /Duties and responsibilities:
1. To assist District Coordinator in the following:
a. To conduct fields activities in the designated districts:
i. Focus Group Discussions
ii. Social Mobilization
iii. Public Meetings
iv. Meetings with office bearers of Political parties
v. Meetings with students
2. Reporting of daily activities to District Coordinator
3. Transmission of all Means of Verifications for all activities to the District Coordinator on time;
Any other task as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To assist in all the tasks and responsibilities related to behavior change communication in malaria endemic areas and increase the overall awareness level regarding malaria & its prevention.
Key Responsibilities
• To assist in planning and organizing of the BCC activity schedule in the work plan in the target Districts/Agencies
• To conduct BCC sessions with LHWs, CBOs, Community elders.
• To develop close liaison with National program i.e. NP coordinator, LHS
• To conduct health education sessions, distribute IEC materials in areas prone to outbreaks.
• To monitor BCC activities conducted by LHWs/CBOs.
• To prepare monthly/Quarterly activity plan in consultation with district coordinator.
• To submit monthly reports, bills and other BCC related documents to office
Any other task assigned by project manager as and when required
ROLE PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to assist District Coordinator in the successful implementation of community mobilization and Outreach activities of the program.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Specific tasks and activities are likely to include, but not limited to;
Assist in designing and developing Capacity building (CB) formats and Community mobilization (CM & Outreach) strategy and ensure its implementation in the program areas.
Support in effective implementation of training & monitor community mobilization activities and ensure their documentation as per approved work plan.
Liaise and coordinate effectively with field units for smooth flow of all information to field unit and from the unit to the provincial office concerned department.
Assist and follow up of liaison and coordination with stakeholders at filed level (Agency and District) for successful implementation of all CB and CM & Outreach activities.
Assist in document and reporting of CB and CM & Outreach activities
Initiation, follow up and record keeping of all CB and CM & Outreach activities.
Ready for frequently travelling in the programme area for monitoring and improvement
Provide guidance to community & Outreach Assistant in the conduction of field events
