Assisting with the preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
Monthly forecasting and preparation of cash flow.

Analyzing variances to ensure that figures are reliable, and including them within the management accounts.
Reconciling accounts payable/receivable on a monthly basis.
Managing prepayments and accruals schedules, ensuring accurate recognition of costs in the management accounts.
Reconciling daily sales and monitoring, as well as updating any variances within the sales and gross profit margins.
Recording of Stock movement journals and adjusting the P&Ls’ accordingly thus matching the closing stock figure as per the balance sheet.
Performing bank account reconciliations and keeping an eye out for any unusual payments and/or receipts.
Maintaining fixed asset registers and all other balance sheet reconciliations.
Monitor inters group settlements and consolidated financial statements of different companies.
Co-ordination with Auditor’s for completion of annual audits.
Computation and filing of monthly sales tax return on timely basis.
Filing of Quarterly Withholding and annual statements within prescribed time limit.
Ensure proper withholding and deposit of tax timely.
Providing guidance to accounts department relating tax matters in recording of day-to-day financial transactions in order to avoid penalty from tax authorities. 
Compilation of records for tax audits and other notices on timely basis. 
To identify tax savings opportunities which are available to the company under different tax rules and laws applicable in Pakistan.
