Urban Planner
I worked as a Town Planner in real estate development firm where i was responsible for site planning, Master Planning of Residential Schemes, Documentation of Projects and coordination with Government Planning Agencies to get Planning permission as per the regulations of Master Plan.
Urban Intern
As an internee, i was responsible for the conduction of field surveys of various sectors of urban area and worked as GIS support staff with GIS experts to prepare ADB Funded official Peri-Urban Structure Plan of Metropolitan City of Pakistan i.e. Faisalabad.
I was also responsible for the demarcation of Peri-Urban Boundary of the city using GPS and in consultation with all the stakeholders.
I was also responsible for the arrangement of public hearings and community involvement in the plan making process to make the plan environmentally sustainable, Socially viable and financially feasible.
I also worked as third party for the evaluation of land-use change in Rawalpindi to assess the Review of Master Plan of Rawalpindi
It was a very good experience for me to work with diversified professionals as a team player where i learned how to perform within the organization and learned professional planning expertise.
