Operations Engineer
As an Operations Engineer I am responsible for Provisioning, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of different services i.e. Internet, Phone & Video. Continuous Management of GPON based Access Network Architecture. Designing custom scenarios as per end users requirements by configuring different Line and DBA Profiles. I designed, deployed and maintained Next Generation Firewall (Untangle) in different scenarios focusing on quality, reliability and safety. I’m also responsible for RCA of repeatedly causing issues to redefine SOPs and processes. Being a senior member of a team of 22 Engineers I’m responsible for training junior Engineers and allocating them tasks on daily basis. Providing MPLS based Layer2/Layer3 VPN service support to the corporate and SLA customers. Responsible for drafting SOPs and workflows for loop holes, effective response and new scenarios. Conducting meetings with concerned stakeholders/internal departments for streamlining current processes. As a team member, work to meet or exceed service level targets. Responsible for improving current workflows to ensure minimal outages and effective escalation and proper resolution of all network related issues. Responsible for Network connectivity with interconnect partners.
