I am qualified finance personnel with over 5 years of professional experience in the field of finance, accounting, administration and business management. I have worked with Education, Health, Social Awareness & Rehabilitation (EHSAR) Foundation on different posts from Admin Assistant to Senior Finance Officer over the last 5 years.
EHSAR Foundation is a non-Profit/non-political and non-governmental local organization based in Peshawar, Pakistan. EHSAR Foundation is working on different UN funded and other international donors funded projects. Currently i am working with EHSAR Foundation as Senior Finance Officer.
My stay at EHSAR Foundation improved my multiple tasking ability, handling of pressurized situations and meeting multiple deadlines in short time. I built my skills of administration, finance and accounting, book keeping, financial reporting, asset management, inventory management, financial budgeting, planning and control, payroll management, cash management, procurement, business advisory and other financial and administrative skills. I also had the opportunity to work on the diverse range of projects that includes different UN agencies i.e. UNHCR, UNOCHA, WHO, Concern World Wide (USAID), UNFPA, UNICEF and UNDP.
I have done MBA from Institute of Management Studies, University of Peshawar in Finance. I am an organized, detail-oriented, and conscientious self-starter, able to strategize and prioritize effectively to accomplish multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure.

My key responsibilities in EHSAR Foundation as Senior Finance Officer are; To look after the projects of different international donors i.e. UNOCHA, UNHCR, WHO, USAID, Concern World Wide , UNDP etc. and maintain close coordination with them, Preparing and presenting financial reports for meetings and donor audits, Providing advices on financial matters, Forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow, Managing organizations accounts system, Working with executives and business heads to prepare organizational budgets, Creating solutions to new financial challenges by applying financial knowledge, Taking responsibility of, and supervising the work of junior staff, Arranging financial audits and reviews as required, Managing and reviewing staff payrolls, Tax filling and dealing with all the matters related to taxation, Maintain banking relationship, Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over finance department activities, Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
My key responsibilities in EHSAR Foundation as Admin & Finance Officer were; Oversee and administer the day-to-day activities of the office; develops policies, procedures, and systems which ensure productive and efficient office operation, Supervise the work of employees in supporting roles, including assigning workload and monitoring employee performance, Serve as the primary point of administrative contact and liaison with other offices, individuals, and institutions on operational and programmatic matters concerning the Office, Undertake daily office duties i.e. dealing with posts, faxes, internal and external email inquiries, Monitoring stocks of basic office supplies and replenishing them when needed, Arranging travel and hotel accommodations on frequent basis, Liaising with suppliers and maintaining excellent professional relationship, Assist both the finance and admin sections in looking after the projects of different donors i.e. UNOCHA, UNHCR, WHO, USAID, Concern World Wide Rapid Fund and UNDP, Manage petty cash and prepare cash vouchers, Prepare forecast for monthly expenditure, Maintain filing system for Project documents, Maintain the general ledgers, trial balances and bank books of all the projects, Calculate salaries and benefits of employee’s, Provide accurate budget and expenditure reports to the management on monthly basis, Coordinate, develop, implement and maintain all the administrative and financial support required to the projects, Ensure adherence to EHSAR Foundation operational policies, procedures and standards of conduct, Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor.
My key responsibilities in EHSAR Foundation as Admin and Finance Associate were; To assist the Admin and Finance officer in head office and cover in his absence, collect all office couriers and forward it to the relevant staff member, maintain and replenish the office and kitchen supplies, arranging and managing external and internal office meetings, ensure all office equipment’s are in working order at all time, provide support to the procurement department in its procurements, prepare monthly cash forecast, Prepare cash vouchers, Maintain office inventory record, Ensure that the procurements made are all properly documented, Implementing duty roaster of all staff, Maintain staff attendance and time sheets on regular basis, Responsible to implement staff rules and regulations for both officials and employees, and updates thereof. Notify changes to the staff members concerned, any other duty assigned by the Supervisor.
My key responsibilities in EHSAR Foundation as Admin Assistant were; To assist the Admin Officer and cover for him in his absence, Managing administrative function and establish internal administrative systems and controls , Preparation of operational plans, ensuring adequate resources for project implementation, and adequate resources to provide support to the projects, ensure proper use and maintenance of physical assets and office, including vehicles, equipment, furniture, and office building, Develop quarterly plan in the supervision of Admin Officer, Ensure protection and security of files and records, Ensure effective transfer of files and records, Ensuring of security of office, staff, and physical assets belonging to the organization, Design and implement office policies, establish standards and procedures, Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
