• Thoroughly designed and implemented the pilot project for Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment (TPT).
• Implemented stakeholder mapping at relevant departments of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Federal Government Hospital (FGH).
• Identified household contacts of active tuberculosis (TB) patients – also referred to as B positive patients, by working with screeners and in-house physicians appointed at each site.
• Developed working groups through networking with stakeholders at each site.
• In liaison with the drug management unit, NTP was responsible for forecasting, procurement and dissemination of medication for Latent Tuberculosis Infection (LTBI) at each site.
• In liaison with the Finance Unit, NTP was responsible to develop financial accounting for the project.
• Collected and maintain data for the project file.
• Routinely carried out visits at health care facilities for appropriate implementation of the pilot project.
• Responsible for any other task given by the supervisor.
• Gain a complete understanding of the programmes run by the National Tuberculosis Control Programme (NTP).
• Design, edit and refine the National Guidelines for Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment.
