Over 14 years of progressive experience in various Public/private sectors and international organizations including Ministry of Human Rights, KP Child Protection and Welfare Commission, The Asia Foundation (America), Handicap International, UNICEF, Media TV channels, ICMS School and College System, Premiere Travel Inn hotels (UK), National NGOs, GEP program (US-Aid). Throughout my career I have been working with PWDs, Women and Child (Protection Programs) and facilitated law makers in Punjab, Sindh and ICT to produce and table bills by establishing the parliamentary caucuses. Has also established facilitation and complaints handling systems/mechanisms and Helplines for human rights violations victims at KP and ICT level (Nationwide).
I am equipped with strong interpersonal and communication skills. I have managed medium and big organizations at mid and advanced supervisory levels. I have excellent organizational skills and expert at handling complaints (Survivors/Victims) and facilitating them. At the ministry of Human Rights Helpline 1099, I have managed to dispose-off successfully a total of 50,000 complaints in past 5 years and have handled almost one million calls.
Furthermore, I have experience in Grants Management, Education Management, Research, Proposal and Report Writing, Program Implementation, Implementing Partners Management, Advocacy and Monitoring.
Director Ministry of Human Rights (GOP) Feb, 2016 till date
At present I am working as director in the ministry of human rights and managing the nationwide helpline 1099 for legal advice on the violations of human rights.
We provide free legal advice and legal aid. We also established a network of government and civil service organizations for the referrals. Besides that we have established a data base MIS system that will have the data of all the cases that approached the helpline.
Specific objectives of the project are:
i. To establish a Helpline for addressing the issues of human rights violations through legal advice.
ii. To provide Telephonic and in-person Legal remedies, counseling and referral services to the victims of Human Rights violation.
iii. To provide legal advice to the marginalized communities including women, children, workers, minorities, senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
iv. To establish grievance-redressal mechanism with concerned Stakeholders through referral services to the victims of Human Rights violations.

Main Responsibilities
• Develop a communication and outreach strategy for the project
• Recommend and oversee the development and implementation of efficient internal communication protocols, acting as focal person for project communications
• Manage the Project’s media related activities, including to organizing meetings with media representatives, editors, senior columnists etc and to create a close liaison with media for the awareness of the child rights in the Province.
• To organize media events such as: press conferences, Programs on public & private channels of TV & radio, newspapers, magazines, and journals, etc.
• Supervise the development of publications – hardcopy, multimedia and/ or web-based, and provide quality control in line with the Project’s corporate identity standards
• Ensure that regular publications (case studies, research reports/ papers, Project updates, occasional papers, newsletters, etc.) are printed, and updated (in case of website) in a timely and consistent manner
• To review the Project’s website(s) on a regular basis and provide content development support and ensure web-site promotion on regular basis
• To work in close coordination with Partners in determining information requirement and needs/ rights for access. In addition, provide support to the staff in establishing effective knowledge management mechanisms
• To maintain regular liaison with all Partner organization in order to identify communication needs; provide necessary support accordingly
• Assist in the documentation of project case studies, lessons learnt, advocacy campaigns and project reporting
• Perform any other duties as required by the organization for achieving above objectives.
