1 Apply criteria for shelter Reconstruction /rehabilitation and selection for site. Overseeing staff (Engineer) and /or conducting house hold damage surveys, rehabilitation and design of shelters, and field implementation.
2 Verification of the appropriate standard materials used in shelter and relief activities.
3 Capacity building of skilled and unskilled labor working on shelters.
4 Manage and implement the technical activities on the field.
5 Have a complete understanding of the project implemented.
6 Plan construction / rehabilitation activities according to project objectives time-frames and designs.
7 Supervise and provide guidance and technical support to other field teams;
8 Support and supervise daily skilled and unskilled workers / project volunteers and give them useful instruction regarding their work improvement, through coordination with the relevant skilled staff;
9 Providing technical guidance, training and support to individuals targeted by each project in line with the programme strategy and intended output[s];
10 Ensure on time completion of the tasks in line with BOQs and designs;
11 Report to the project Coordinator on a daily basis about progress and challenges faced;
12 Liaising with programmed staff of other ACTED teams to ensure that information is shared and that lessons learned are developed.
13 Directly fix and repair damaged installations or facilities.
14 Participate in the elaboration of designs and BoQs when required.
15 Support community mobilizers and village steering committees in the identification and verification of skilled labourers.
16 Supervise the unloading of the material on site as well as quality and quantity of the item.

To plan, design and provide technical knowledge about the WASH activities of the PATS project at Bajur Agency.
Technical Responsibilities:
1 Design the construction and maintenance of civil works of project.
2 Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications to managerial personnel.
3 Analyze survey reports, maps, and drawings of projects.
4 Assist site engineers in investigation of sites to work out the most suitable solution for construction.
5 Assist the team leader in establishing of detailed programs for the planning of construction activities on site.
6 Assign the field task to the field engineers.
7 Regularly monitor the construction activities on sites.
8 Provide assistance to the concerned field engineers on need basis.
9 Prepare bi-weekly consolidated progress report of the on-going construction sites and submit to team leader.
