I have an overall demonstrated experience of over 25 years, in Pakistan Army. I have special experience of commanding a sector in Siachin during war (Kargil crisis) with India in 1999. Commanded a Frontier Corps Wing in North Waziristan Agency during active operations against miscreants in 2007. Later, commanded an Infantry Battalion during escalations in Sind. My knowledge, exposure and experience of directly working in these situations has helped me understand the dynamics, limitations and at the same time potential of human beings to work in isolation and in teams in critical and difficult conditions. May it be, the fields of planning, sports, training, or particularly the security of personnel, equipment and material, I have always been a good team maker and thus able to achieve best results, utilizing the human resource and other assets judiciously. Good interpersonal skills have always been my strong point.
During my service, I had the opportunity to visit and serve most of the areas in the country. This includes, plains of Punjab, Cholistan desert, few areas of Balochistan,, Sind including Rajhistan desert, Peshawar and Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA), hills of Kashmir and dangerous areas of Federally Administered Northern Areas (FANA). This exposure provided me opportunity to equate different strategies to respond to acute overt and covert security issues and their solutions effectively.
In brief, I have got substantial experience and knowledge of management, administration of security of personnel, equipment and material, making short and long term interventions keeping intact the local cultures, norms and values.
