概要

This position of Deputy Country Director is of special interest for me due to its relevance to my aptitude, skills, experience and expertise in the same field. For over 15 years, I have successfully implemented, coordinated and managed a number of multi-sectoral development / humanitarian projects (emergency, health, education, public infrastructure, poverty, reproductive health family planning, advocacy, gender, environment / conservation of natural resources).

Presently, I have been employed by DKT Pakistan (www.dktpakistan.org) as Director Operations. DKT is a USA based one of the largest private providers of family planning and reproductive health products and services in the developing world, having served 21 million couples in 2013. I provide overall lead to DKT Pakistan in operating its activities and projects throughout the country. At present, DKT has over 350 employees throughout Pakistan with Head Office in Karachi and Regional Offices in Lahore and Islamabad.

Previously, I was working as Team Leader with a German based company i.e. EPOS Health Management (www.epos.de) - a leading health management firm working globally to improve the quality and accessibility of health services and systems by combining internationally recognized expertise with proven technical and management excellence to result in cost-effective solutions for public and private organisations. My job is to lead, kfWs 7.5 million funding spread over three years with the overall objective to increase capacity of the health system in both public private sector in the remotest and marginalized northern areas of Pakistan. Working PPPs will be a major output of this project.

I have worked as Program Management Specialist with Care International (www.care.org) in its Pakistan Country Office. I developed, secured funding and implemented over 25 multi-sectoral emergency projects for various international donors. I was one of the five members team who developed, won implemented USAIDs US 80 million Jobs Project to develop human resource in collaboration with the private sector.
My brief experience in different sectors is as follows

Emergency
Took lead in institutionalizing Sphere Standards and HAP Principles within Care Pakistan as well as its implementing partners from 20072008
Developed, implemented, supervised and monitored 25 multi-sectoral, multi-donor emergency projects for Pakistan EQ 2005, EQ 2008 and Floods 2007 emergencies from 20072008
Managed implementing partners through their support supervision and building capacities during emergencies from 20072008

Health
Presently leading kfWs 7.5 million funding spread over three years with the overall objective to increase capacity of the health system in both public private sector in the remotest and marginalized northern areas of Pakistan. Working PPPs will be a major output of this project.
